@greenonionbun: I wish there were pickle buffets in my city. 🥒 This was one of my favorite meals in Kyoto! I loved trying all the different tsukemono (Japanese pickled veggies). My personal favorite was the lemon nagaimo and the umeboshi. It’s the perfect lunch spot for vegetarians as well!⁣ ⁣ Since my visit, the price has increased from 1,800 JPY to 1,950 JPY! Please note this place can be quite popular. I wish I had known about this place, and if it was even open, back in the 80s when I was stationed at Iwakuni , Japan. Every couple months I’d make a trip to Kyoto just to eat. Lol
