AND THEN…that sludgy ooze gets pulled down into the mantle from the ocean floor and eventually gets shot out of volcanoes! Which is why we have rainforests. That material is rich in minerals and organisms that seed the earth and provide oxygen for everything! 🌱🌋

So if we scoop out all that sludge at the bottom of the ocean from just the past 1000 years and move it all to mars (or off world somewhere) we could essentially reduce the water levels by 18-20 feet to make up for us heating the planet up and melting all the artic ice? In theory?
