Recovery isn’t about eating the foods other people deem “healthy” or “acceptable,” it’s about rebuilding a relationship with food, challenging fears, and learning to nourish myself. And honestly? I genuinely like @McDonald’s. 😂 It’s probably one of my top takeout choices because it doesn’t feel overly heavy, it typically doesn’t upset my stomach, and I have good memories associated with it.
