Jimmy Kimmel Live! premiered in January 2003, so that exit would close a 24 year run and would come after one more season. Season 24 premiered this week. ABC disputes it. A spokesperson called the information inaccurate and said reports about the show's future are purely speculative. Kimmel has signed short, year to year extensions rather than long term deals.
