people need to comprehend no one can read your mind & not everyone expresses love the same way you do. sometimes you’re going to have to teach someone to love you and there is nothing wrong with that. someone can think they are doing all the right things to make you feel special & loved but you are silently needing it showed in a different way. it’s totally fine to tell someone how you feel the most loved & appreciated.

I get what you mean. I just think sometimes we expect someone’s idea of what a specific action looks like in a healthy relationship to be the same as ours, when it might not be. If you express something you’d like or need and they choose to do it, I’d assume they’re doing it because they want to, not because they feel forced to. You’re just communicating what matters to you, and they get to decide how they want to respond to that, yk?
