@thatcurlygirlmonica: I didn’t lose my curls. I just learned to hide them. Growing up, I had a friend who always told me she liked my hair better straight. So I straightened it to fit the narrative of what looked better for the standard of others during that time, damage happened and my curls were basically non existent. Years later, different friends started encouraging me to wear them. To stop fighting them. To see what was actually there. And little by little, I did. 🤎 I learned how to care for my curls instead of trying to erase them. I found products that helped me bring them back to life. And somewhere in the process of healing my hair, I healed the way I saw it too. Now the curls I spent years hiding are literally part of my job and I love every second of it. Your curls might not be gone. And if you have a feeling there’s a curly girl hiding under all that heat, damage, brushing and “I just don’t know what to do with it”… Come find her with me. 🥹➰ Comment CURLS and I’ll help you figure out where to start. 🤎 Xx Monica #curlyproducts #curlyhairroutine #curlytransformation #curlyhairtutorial
