One thing that isn't clear in the English translation. In Japanese, whenever authors use uncommon kanji, they use little script above it called furigana that shows how to pronounce it phonetically. Oda likes to use it not just for kanji but also numbers and letters, sometimes to give things double/additional meanings. Oda used furigana to show Germa 66 is pronounced Germa Double Six (most people only find out after watching the anime)
