This is not a one-size fits all approach. When I tell you I’ve had to work through this I mean I’ve realllyyy had to work through this over the years. Like I used to think being an entrepreneur, a realtor, a business owner wasn’t “good enough” for God’s kingdom because I wasn’t literally holding the title of “missionary.” But we go to an amazing church and they’ve continued to remind me we can have ministries no matter where we are or what we’re doing. Students, stay at home moms, business owners, employees, CEO’s, tech people, social media influencers, medical professionals… you name it, God can and WANTS to use you in the space you’re in. Now, with money, I think if my joy and spiritual walk was dependent on my bank account that’s different. But to be quite frank with you we are in one of the worst spots we’ve ever been in financially right now and I feel so close to God, so at peace with where he has us, and still no doubt that he wants to use me in this space. Again, it’s not a one size fits all. God has a different path for each one of us which is the coolest part! Just wanted to share this with you because I know I’m not the only one who has felt guilty for being entrepreneurial, business minded, super goal oriented, numbers focused, etc. So that’s where my urge to you comes in: No money? Fix your eyes on Jesus. Tons of money? Fix your eyes on Jesus. Money is a TOOL and can be so good for the good it can do.
