@kenadiadams: I’ve been struggling with the “not yet” lately. I don’t have every dream or passion perfectly mapped out. But I do know that one of the deepest desires of my heart is to be a wife and a mom someday. And sometimes it’s hard when the things you’ve prayed for feel so far away. I know God is sovereign. I know He orders my steps. I know His timing is better than anything I could plan for myself. But knowing those things doesn’t always make the waiting easy. So I’m learning that faith in the waiting doesn’t mean pretending I don’t have desires. It means surrendering those desires over and over again and trusting that the God who sees the whole story knows exactly what He’s doing with this chapter too. Maybe this season isn’t just the space before my life begins.
