@abc7chicago: Destructive waves hit the coastline along Long Beach on Monday, September 7, as dangerous rip currents from Hurricane Marie impacted Southern California. Video filmed by Brooke Rocha shows high waves breaching the wall of a boardwalk and pouring down a residential street. The city closed some areas along the coast on Monday and issued evacuation notices to about 20 homes along Seaside Walk due to the compromised seawall and damage to the boardwalk.
