As someone who’s 21 and left in year 11. It’s not the phones, it’s the education system. Period. As soon as you walk through the door it’s depressing. They actually barely care for the ones who are behind in class, all school is to keep u in line and manipulated to work a 9-5 lol.

I would argue that our education system is failing our students, classes arent engaging, it's literally just "memorise this for the exam" and very little of what you learn in school is used once you're out of school, so yeah, why would anyone pay attention?

Nothing to do with digital devices. It all starts at home so how about parents start taking accountability. Teachers are there to teach a curriculum, not behavior, manners and values.
