What's Taking Up The Most Space in My Mind Right Now? My Entry: My you I'm answering this at 1:10am, knowing I have plans for a book and downtown friend date with my bestie tomorrow... I need to be well rested to go donate some books, low key grab some books, and return my 2 week overdue library book... And enjoy our lunch... Instead I'm liking every reel on TikTok about a life that's quiet and balanced, scrolling on to tips for nervous system regulation, found several email ads for ASHWAGANDHA of all things... And, to wrap up the madness my response is... Calm. I want my calm. I have life people make reels about. I have what people take supplements for. I constantly overcomplicate how to make it better because I feel like I'm not doing enough... The reality is I have years of healing like many people I come into contact with... And, truth be told a regulated nervous system is weird to be ... Calm is new like two or 3 years new to me ... Boundaries... I have a 5 year old brother older than my realizations and forming of healthy boundaries. My life is new even to me. And, even leaving the rat race and stepping aside from a faster paced career environment... I find myself forcing this notion I need to do and be more. When I am genuinely happy and healing. What's taking the most space in my mind... A battle. Between pursuing career advancement and resting in my healing. A strong debate is happening daily in my inner dialogue about this career vs self. This is exactly why I am an independent service provider 😂😂😂My healing and peace are my priority. My needs are met. I just love be available whenever others need help as they're healing too... This space occupied by this weird lil battle can go away already... I'll always chose my peace... I need that space for my peace. Feel free to comment your thoughts, response to the prompt or privately inbox me your response. As I've said before you can always use the prompt for your own private self reflection. #selfreflection #peace #self #journaling #selfcareroutine
