This happened to my dad! He was a cop. Responded to a call about a woman screaming for help. Busted in the front door when she wouldn't open it. It was one of the big parrots.

I used to own a pet store. I had 2 blue and gold macaws and the doors open 1 day, one kept yelling. Help me help me the other kept yelling. Firefire, my pet store is right next to a. Fire station, who happened to be barbecuing. they heard it and shut everything down and were looking for the lady. That was saying, help me help me, fire. It was my birds. i was told I could never have my doors open again until the birds were gone. lol🤣

I inherited my grandparent's African Grey parrot. They absolutely mimic human voices precisely. My bird spoke in my grandpa's voice all the time saying "Up your nose!!"... among other things.
