My wife and I have a different problem, over the past 33 years we bought our hunting land, 940 acres I know what it’s like to be land poor!!! The land was excellent deer hunting plus the fishing is very good as there is 2 miles of river frontage too! The problem is wolves, people don’t think they’re a problem, but they don’t have a clue!!! I would say there are 5 deer on 940 acres on any given day! The fishing, bear and grouse hunting is good, so we’ve decided to sell 750 acres !!! It’s tough to call it deer hunting ground because of the wolves!!!

Its the hunting industry and all the so called trophy hunters now what they dont realize is that the more people who drop out of hunting its a matter of time until the anti hunters will have more power than the remaining hunters. Its the proverbial killing the goose that laid the golden egg.

Exactly, and if you have the land and you have the money to plant a food plot, they're drawing the deer away from everybody else to that property, if there's water on that property deer, don't need to go any farther than that property to have feed, they have a betting area, and they have water, that's all deer needs. Thank God, I've been hunting on the same. Farmers land for 25 years, and he's still allows us to hunt there, but the deer have gotten fewer and fewer because we don't have a food plot.And there's many of them around us , and it just draws the deer away

Went hunting in Wyoming for the first time in 1992 for $500 total..license, fuel,food and trespass fee. Can’t do it now for less than $1,500. Now you have to buy preference points for everything on top of all other expenses
