Thinking about what even Nico said so phones were banned and a good few of the trainees like Nico, k, Taki, and ni-ki and more were foreigners. Imagine you have no access to your phone in a foreign country for 2 months you can’t even use your phone as a translator while you are learning a new language or anything. Everything I learn about I-land just puts in perspective how horrible they had these kids living

exactly. it is so traumatizing because they made them vote who will be eliminated. they got really close and suddenly they had to choose who will go home... it broke them every single time. and ofc the way they treated them, the grounders especially... all this status play, like if you don't overwork yourself you won't get the good beds, the better food, the better clothes, a phone call, a little break... they were just kids with a dream.

I think produce and planet series missions are more harder, but iland's system and environment what made them cruel asf. wdym they can't get out of that forest for 3 months
