Told a customer who had a party of 9 it was going to be an hour wait because servers sections were full and we were short staffed and he asked “really?” And I confirmed that yes this would be the wait and I explained that we had some call offs and that we were short staffed and he told me that “this is how you get this place shut down”

We actually have restaurants here that allow us to write down our order in a piece of paper that has their menu on it so that when we sit down we just give it to the server 🤷🏻♀️

I think it would be a cool idea to have a kiosk where people can place their order while they wait. That way, their food could be ready by the time they’re seated.
