Bound for Lagos (1960) A daughter with two cars in her garage begs her father to make the trip to Lagos by bolekaja. He refuses at first, worried about the breakdowns, the crowding and the risks of the road. In the end he agrees. That one scene shows how deeply the bolekaja was woven into Nigerian life. The bolekaja is the mammy wagon, a light truck or lorry converted to carry passengers. It was cheap, it took shortcuts through traffic, and it carried people where other transport didn’t. The name means “come down and let us fight,” a nod to the quarrels between drivers, conductors and passengers along the way. The film itself dates to 1960, the year of Nigeria’s independence, and shows the changing social life of an emerging West African middle class. Music is a big part of it, with highlife and Yoruba sounds in the soundtrack. Я просто беру КЕФИР с МОЛОКОМ и получаю божественную СЫРНУЮ НАМАЗКУ Ингредиенты: · кефир 2.5% 500 мл · сметана 20% 500 г · соль 1 ч.л. · чеснок 3 зубчика · укроп 1 пучок · огурец свежий 1 шт Смешиваем кефир со сметаной и солью. Переливаем в сито застеленное марлей, сверху гнет, чтобы стекла лишняя жидкость. Убираем в холодильник на 2 дня. В получившуюся массу добавляем тертый на терке огурец, нарезаный мелко укроп, давленный чеснок и ароматное масло. Хорошо перемешиваем Всем приятного аппетита!
