Agreed. It’s not the same thing. Plus the car to them doesn’t mean anything. A Porsche to someone who saved and worked hard to get it, is something for them to be very proud of. The person who was gifted it by their rich parents, won’t be appreciated and they won’t be proud of it because Daddy will just get them a Rolls next and it means nothing. My first car was a 1967 Mercury Cougar and I was 16 and paid for it myself. I washed that car three times a week, so proud.
