@angatbuhaypinas: FROM IMMEDIATE RELIEF TO LONG-TERM RECOVERY 🚤🩷 For communities recovering from disaster, rebuilding means more than meeting immediate needs. It means creating the conditions for families to recover, regain their livelihoods, and move toward a more sustainable future. In Liloan, Cebu, our support to fisherfolk affected by Typhoon Tino began with immediate relief through hot meals and food packs, followed by shelter repair kits to help rebuild the homes of families affected by the disaster. Months later, we came back once again not just to respond to a need, but to help restore a way of life. Through livelihood assistance, we turned over 40 fishing boats to 40 families, helping fisherfolk return to work, regain their source of income, and rebuild their independence. From the first meal to the rebuilding of homes, and from shelter to livelihood, we stay with communities through the different stages of recovery.
