They probably *do/will* regret parts of it because you were real. You connected. You are deeply missable. 
BUT regret doesn’t always look how you want it to. Some people stay silent in regret. Some replace the emptiness with rebounds instead of reflection. Some will never be able to admit what they lost, because that would mean facing themselves. So what helps… ✅ Separate your healing from their awareness. You don’t need their acknowledgement to validate your experience. Your pain was real. Your love was real. ✅ Accept that regret can exist without closure.
They may never apologise, explain, or show it. That doesn’t mean it isn’t there. ✅ Shift the question from “Do they regret losing me?” to “Do I regret staying attached to someone who couldn’t keep me?”
 That’s where your power is. You don’t need to witness their regret to believe you were unforgettable.
