My favorite person in the Bible is Hagar. Imagine having the honor of being the first to give God a name He accepted to go by. El Roi the God who sees me. She was so deeply deeply used and abused and completely outside of the covenant but He still showed up for her. God gave a gentile justice and care. For me, it’s one of many instances that shows despite not being His chosen beloved bride He never stopped caring for gentiles. He always loved us too. We’re all His even those of us grafted into His chosen people.

Joseph because he was a dreamer and chosen by God and he got a little too excited and shared what God showed him with others and their Jealousy caused them to treat him differently he was thrown in a pit and in prison but even tho his brothers sought to destroy Him God still elevated him because God chose him. They were jealous and they didn't believe or understand what God told him. But just because God shows you and not someone else doesn't mean it's not true. People will get jealous of you and your calling even family and friends and seek to tear you down behind closed doors and do subtle things to try and take it because they're jealous and they want to be elevated. But they don't realize with time God can do that for them too. But just because someone may be ahead doesn't mean you'll never get there. But they try and take it anyways. But God made Joseph a great leader. The arrogant struggle. His brothers struggled and eventually had to go to Joseph for help. And the humble will prosper. Joseph was taken care of by God. But it also reminds me to keep my mouth shut and to not share everything God shows me with others because they won't always understand.
