@goodmorningbritain: More than 1.7 million patients waited for more than more than half a day for emergency care, despite concerns that long A&E waits are linked to an increased risk of death, according to a new report. The National Audit Office (NAO) has estimated that during 2025, 1.2 million patients in England waited between 12 and 24 hours from their arrival in A&E to be discharged, transferred or admitted. And 500,000 more patients waited for more than 24 hours, it estimated. #nhs #health #politicstiktok

it's poorly run and totally under funded... just a thought maybe we should stop sending money abroad and put it into the NHS...I know it sounds crazy..but please remember MPs have private care.. so it doesn't affect them...

That’s because so many time wasters go there with issues that can be dealt with outside of ED. I work clinically in a hospital and the amount of people who come to A&E for the silliest little thing is probably the biggest contributing factor. These days people have the smallest little bump and they rush into ED. I have had injuries worse than many and never went to ED because all they need is time and rest to recover.

Maybe all the money we give to other countries would be better spent on new hospitals in this country 🤔

It’s because we can’t see a gp! People get desperate then go to A&E- not right but when people are in a lot of pain they need help!

About time members of public where allowed to audit hospitals and actually check every room and see staff timetables and the amount of staff when they turn up and what they actually do

It doesn't matter if you are having a heart attack. You wait and if you live, you are seen by a doctor after hours of wait and struggling to get a chair! This happened to us.

But Wes Streeting said the NHS is in better place, again completely ignoring front life staff, why do they lie to look after there own jobs, doctors and nurses told him and it’s the same now with Yvette Cooper it’s not getting better but are ignored by people with no experience in anything to do with medical knowledge or patients care
