@ksenaaga: September 7, 2026 Saskatchewan, #canada #canada_life🇨🇦 #canada🇨🇦 On September 7, heavy downpours struck the southern and southeastern regions of Saskatchewan, causing localized flooding. The situation was most severe in the city of Weyburn, where a large amount of rain fell in a short period. Water flooded streets, sidewalks, and areas surrounding buildings, and also entered homes and commercial premises. Municipal crews and emergency services spent the day dealing with the aftermath of the storm. Due to the flooding, municipal sports and leisure facilities were closed, and several businesses suspended operations. Reports of flooding also came from other parts of southeastern Saskatchewan. A heavy rainfall warning was in effect for the region, and the Estevan area and its surroundings also experienced issues due to the heavy precipitation. In Regina, prolonged rains led to flooded areas as well, including on certain roads and interchanges.
