Some public employees need to hear this:
You are at work.
You are exercising authority on behalf of the public. Being watched, questioned, or recorded is not a personal attack.
The hubris of “How dare you film me?” is exactly why transparency matters.
If the auditor acts like a clown, the camera will prove it.
If you lose your temper, invent authority, retaliate, or embarrass yourself because somebody pointed a camera at you, the camera will prove that too.
If transparency is truly unbearable, there are plenty of jobs outside public service.
Otherwise:
Calm down, act professionally, and do the job the public is paying you to do.
Look it up: Glik v. Cunniffe • Fordyce v. City of Seattle • Smith v. City of Cumming • Irizarry v. Yehia • Fields v. Philadelphia

When are they going to start teaching basic Constitutional law at the police academy? If you swear an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States. Shouldn't you want to know everything you can about what you are committing your life to? And once you give your word you follow the words you swore to protect without question. Your word should mean something and the consequences of breaking your oath should be serious.
