If someone respectfully invites you into their home, happily shares food earned through their hard work, and makes an effort to ensure your comfort, yet your focus drifts to criticizing their home’s paint, carpet, clothes, salt, oil, or spices, then you are simply unfit to be a guest in anyone's home. Plain and simple. If you cannot respect the dignity of a place where you are honored, you lack a fundamental human virtue. Otherwise, keeping a home clean is necessary, if not for others, then for your own hygiene. Besides, maintaining a clean home is believed to bring good luck.
