Creative differences, burnout, and boredom were among the reasons behind his decision. In 2003, Fred Durst spoke to the press about Wes’s departure, even calling him “a spineless person.” Luckily, Wes would eventually rejoin Limp Bizkit in 2008, and the band returned to touring in 2009.
