Pregnancy has really changed the way I look at my body. 🤍 Before I was pregnant, I was constantly told I was “too skinny,” and I needed “meat on my bones”. Those comments stuck with me more than people probably realized. Now I’m pregnant, my body is changing, I’m gaining weight, and somehow the comments still haven’t stopped. But the difference is… I actually feel good about my body. 🥹 I’m proud of the weight I’ve gained. I’m proud of the body that is growing my baby girl. I’m proud of every change, every curve, and every pound that has brought me closer to meeting her. It’s crazy how people can make you feel like your body is never “right” — too skinny, too big, too this, too that. But your body was never made to be acceptable to everyone else. So please, think twice before commenting on someone’s body. You never know what they’ve struggled with or how deeply your words might stick with them. I spent so long hearing that I needed more on my body… now I’m learning to love the body I have, exactly as it is. Growing my girl has made me appreciate it in a whole new way!!!!
