The station formerly known as Onpassive is now officially Garmin Metro Station.Located between Al Quoz and Al Safa, this station has a long history. How does the corporate naming process work? The RTA started this program in 2009 to generate revenue outside of passenger fares. To secure a station name, companies must apply through a formal corporate bidding system. The selection is strictly evaluated using official criteria: ✔️ 65% – The financial price bid ✔️ 20% – The payment structure installments ✔️ 15% – The brand’s marketing and promotion strategy (Note: Personal or family names are entirely prohibited).
