so in a public place it is legal to carry an open carry gun, but when law enforcement asked your name while carrying a gun you HAVE TO provide your name and date of birth they need to know if you're legally allowed to carry that weapon. that's the state I live in I don't know what that say that you're working in but if you're in my state you would be wrong 1,000%

Even in open carry state there are restricted places. jails,bars,banks,etc. the law says on property you cannot carry.
