Manchester City should be banned from football for the next 5 years, simple as that

‘sort of preserve the status quo’ so it was never about fairness but preservation of the elite class

Its almost like the 1950's 60's 70's 80's and 90's didn't happen. When the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United had all the money... thousands of times (literally millions of times) more money than many other teams in the leauge... and could simply buy all the best players, managers, officials and results they wanted... without any restriction or regulation whatsoever, enabling them to buy their rich histories. Was it fair when they wallowed in their millions and competed against clubs like Chelsea who were sold for £1... blankets held out for fans to throw money into, to pay last months club wages and electricity bills?
Shearer's title winning time a Blackburn Rovers? Anyone else remember the circumstances of it? 😂😂😂

It’s certainly there to preserve the status quo. The super league they banned but within the premier league. 5 teams battle it out for the top spots and the rest make up the numbers. It’s as predictable as F1

So it’s corrupt and there for the cartel clubs, got nothing to do with stopping teams going bankrupt

Tee :
So the City’s and Chelsea’s already have an advantage baked in and everyone outside of the so called Sky Six have got no chance of competing with them meaningfully

Level of debt should also be taken into account meaning clubs with less debt can spend more of a percentage

Even if Villa won the premier league and the champions league this season they would probably still find something to punish them. Probably a fine for winning too much.

Invisible Fishfinger :
It’s to stop owners sending clubs bust by loading them with debt.

Toxido〽️ :
So is preserving the status quo where a few teams will remain in the top forever good? Where United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Real, Barca will dominate their leagues and UEFA as they will always have more revenue than clubs like Leicester even thought the won the titles in the most dramatic way?
