@hitchlife: ELECTRICIANS — YOUR TRADE COULD BE YOUR FASTEST ROUTE INTO OFFSHORE WORK. ⚡🌊 If you already have electrical experience, you’re not starting from scratch. Offshore installations rely on electrical technicians to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical systems — and that’s exactly where your existing skills can give you an advantage. Instrumentation is another pathway worth looking into, especially if your experience overlaps with industrial electrical systems and controls. You’ll still need the offshore-specific training, medical clearance, and certifications required for the role, but your trade background can put you ahead of someone with no technical experience. And because specialized electrical roles can pay significantly more than many entry-level positions, moving offshore can be a serious career upgrade. 💰 Already an electrician?
