THIS! If you are not financially, physically, or emotionally stable, don’t have a damn child just because you “love” your partner and/or because you want a “mini you”. Reality is that “love” or having a “mini you” will not save you when it’s time to pay for your child’s quality education, shelter, food, and overall quality of life. How is this so hard to understand?

I want to share my experience. This is about my cousin na nabuntis nang sobrang aga (16 y/o), and her husband, who is around 20–22 y/o. They have nowhere to go, no plan for their future, and wala ring perang nakahanda para sa pagdating ng baby nila. At first, doon sila sa lola ko nakitira. Kaso matanda na yung lola ko and medyo nahihirapan na siyang kumilos para magluto. Etong cousin ko at asawa niya, sobrang tamad daw, kaya nagkaroon sila ng kaunting misunderstanding. My lola eventually kicked them out. With nowhere else to go, pumunta sila dito sa amin. My mom, kind as always, let them stay. I was so pissed because they were being so irresponsible. Naisip nilang mag-start ng family without any plan for their future? Paano na lang yung baby? They don't even have any emergency funds. Buong araw silang nagco-cuddle sa bahay namin. Everything was on us—the food, electricity, and sometimes, si mama pa mismo yung nagbibigay ng pangsigarilyo nung guy. I was about to explode dahil ilang weeks na silang nandito, pero never man lang naisip nung guy na maghanap ng disenteng trabaho.

Totoo. Jusko. Mga boomers sa mommy group nakakastress. May nakasagutan ako na wag na anak nang anak if wala pera at maayos na trabaho sabi ba naman libre naman public school tapos wala naman bayad sa public hospital tapos libre din bakuna sa center so bakit daw need marami pera hay 😭😭😭😭

guilty ako dito, I was 16 when I had my first baby. nag aaral ng HS, irresponsible at asa sa Nanay kong single parent. hanggang naging 22 yrs old ako napadpad sa mnla. naka hanap ng work, now she's going to a Private school, I can give her everything she asks, nakakapag date kami evey week. may monthly dentist appointment sya. you know sometimes yung mistake natin can make us stronger not everyone but I hope we all learn from it.
