As someone who isn’t particularly fluent in spoken English, I genuinely admire people who can express themselves so effortlessly in English. Yang buli tu sebenarnya dengki we 😭 I have friends who would immediately judge someone just because they hear them speaking English, whereas I’m genuinely impressed by their confidence and fluency. Like, why judge when you can appreciate and learn from them instead? Annoying

selalu majority orang yang ejek2 people yang speaking english ni bukan kawan kita pun 😭 every time I'm just trying to mind my business some mpm just come to me and says "heyyy... how's ur dayyy" in a tone that sounded so mocking, and mind you I saw a lot of them being absolute cheeks at english, like hi, don't cope on me lah

in middle school I was like the most fluent in english in ny school that I constantly got called a "white boy" because i have american accent. What I hate the most is when people say "kau tahu dia tak boleh cakap bm kan, kena cakap bi dengan dia" it was nice at first because I struggled with bm but I eventually got fluent in bm so it got to a point. I was basically like THE english kid to the point that some of my classmates told me I should be holding an american flag instead of a malaysian flag during merdeka. ??? I dont get it

when I was lining up for my food in my cafeteria a group of popular kids cut my line, while I was talking to my friend they called me British, penjajah, acah speaking. I wanted to stand up for myself but if I did the whole group would hate on me and bully me. the next day I went to school and the popular boys from my class started talking about how I was talking English and made fun of the videos I made. it gets to the point where they told me to go die, harass me, and would throw sharp pencils at my head. this is my experience with talking English
