Yesterday my glasses broke, immediately contacted my father bc I needed a replacement soon. I was okay if I have to go blind for a few days pero he immediately said go pamili na kaw. The next day, i got new ones. That same day naa mi quiz, and I failed that quiz... again. I went home crying, just looking at my new glasses. I'm privileged enough to go to school but why can't I do better? I already had a gap year, why can't I still do better? Every day I cry myself to sleep, still get up to go to school and I still don't do well in school. What is wrong with me?

hi! might help, but what ure experiencing right now na experience ko rin po. madalas pa ko umaabsent dahil tinatamad ako. 2 years delayed me! pero what helped me talaga is tinatak ko po sa mind ko na “pagod na ko mag-aral, kailangan ko na matapos to” HAHAHAHA or “just show up” po. ika nga nila “life is not a race”. You’ll get there po! Just believe in urself! 🫂

+ they don’t even pressure me to aim for high grades, as long as pasado okay na sa kanila. and the guilt is eating me up everytime i tell them ahead na “baka ma irreg ako” cause i feel like i didn’t do my best and all they say is to continue and never give up. 🥹 i sometimes tell them na uuwi nalang ako ng province kasi nakaka guilty na yung gastos (tuition, allowance, rent, etc.)

I feel u te 😭 It makes you feel even more guilty when you know your parents are doing everything they can for you, but you still feel like you’re not doing enough in school. Then you start overthinking everything and wondering if you’re disappointing them, even when you’re already trying your best.

I never resonated with a post this bad😭. This is exactly how I felt picking a 6-year degree program. Dapat graduate na ko this grad szn pero inde pa. Worse, kaka-delay ko lang and currently 5th year irreg🥲. Ito ako ngayon secretly been applying for part-time job just to feel I'm still worthy of smthn.

REAL and i feel 10x more pressured this time and i feel so obligated to give back to my parents asap esp as an eldest daughter. doubting urself + the never ending anxiety everyday sucks but we will all get through this. maka graduate ra ta in our own time! we just need to be a lot more better this time 😁
