From taking my very first steps in prosthetics between the parallel bars… to walking completely on my own. 🦿❤️ When I look back at that first clip, I remember just how emotional and strange those first steps were. Everything felt unfamiliar. Every movement took concentration, strength and courage. But I kept showing up. I kept failing, getting back up, trying again, and pushing through the days when progress felt impossible. Step by step. Rep by rep. Day by day. The parallel bars lasted 10 minutes, Then the crutches 4 days And after a week nothing. Just me, my prosthetic legs and the confidence to trust myself. 🥹 This is what progress looks like. I may of defied the odds with how quick I walked as a bilateral amputee, I just couldn’t wait to walk again so I got up and did it, it certainly isn’t easy — but mindset is everything. If you have the right mindset your body adapts and you can achieve anything! I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. And this is only the beginning. 🤍 Never underestimate what you can achieve when you refuse to give up. 🦿✨
