@jessicalbarwand: 🚨 RSV SEASON REMINDER 🚨 As a children’s nurse AND a mum of two, these are the little things I’m extra conscious of during RSV season. ❤️ 👶 Please don’t kiss babies on the face or hands. I know it’s so hard to resist those gorgeous little cheeks, but babies are particularly vulnerable to respiratory viruses. 💋 If you have older children or toddlers and a baby at home, encourage them to give kisses on the back of baby’s head or on their arms instead. Still lots of love and cuddles — just a safer place for those kisses. 🥰 🧼 And my BIGGEST recommendation… WASH. YOUR. HANDS. Wash them before touching baby. Wash them when you get home. Wash them after being around other children. Wash them, wash them, WASH THEM! 😂 These small habits can make such a difference during respiratory virus season.
