I don’t get upset over small things. I get upset over being told to “shut the F up” when I have an opinion or an emotion. I would love to just have small things to be annoyed about. He literally told me this the other day when I was trying to support him after something happened at work. I was calm, I didn’t yell I didn’t fight with him. I said OK and we got off the phone. Later, I told him how I felt and he tried to say he didn’t say that. Then when he got home, he brought me a purse. I don’t care about gifts.
