We always talk about communication in love. Understanding. Compassion. Compromise. Meeting each other halfway. But sometimes we forget— all of these are built on one thing: love. And love doesn’t always disappear in one terrible moment. Sometimes, it disappears quietly. Through arguments that were never truly resolved. Jealousy that became another wound. Words we wish we could take back. Disappointments we pretended to forget. Promises that “this will be the last time.” Little by little, love becomes tired. The person who once made you feel safe starts making you feel stressed. You become lost. Discouraged. Exhausted. Until one day, you start asking questions you never thought you’d ask— Do I still love him? Am I happy anymore? Why am I still staying? And that’s when communication starts feeling meaningless. Compromise feels like sacrifice. Understanding feels like another burden. Not because you’ve become heartless, but because you’ve become too tired to keep giving to something you no longer believe can make you happy. Slowly, you forget why you chose each other. The things you once found adorable begin to irritate you. The person who once felt irreplaceable starts to feel replaceable. And perhaps the saddest part is— somewhere inside you, you know you still love him. You just can’t find a reason to stay anymore. So you ask for time. You ask for space. You tell yourself— Maybe if I step away, I’ll miss him. Maybe I’ll remember why I loved him. Maybe I’ll finally find my answer. Distance cannot always repair what was slowly destroyed while you were together. Because perhaps love was never about looking backward and searching for the missing pieces. Perhaps the answer isn't hidden in everything that went wrong. Love has always been a gamble. At the beginning, you took a risk. You opened your heart without knowing where it would lead. You trusted someone without knowing whether they would hurt you. You chose love before you had guarantees. But somewhere along the way, after being hurt enough times, you stopped taking that risk. You started protecting yourself. You built walls. You closed doors. You stopped believing. Not necessarily because the love was completely gone— but because **fear became stronger than love.** And maybe this is where everything changes. When two people finally stop protecting themselves from each other, they start listening differently. Not to defend themselves. Not to prove who’s right. Not to prepare for the next fight. But to understand. It stops being— “You against me.” And becomes— “Us against the problem.” Every disagreement becomes something to learn from. Every wound becomes something you try not to repeat. Every difficult moment becomes proof that you’re still willing to fight for each other, instead of fighting against each other. Maybe that’s what we sometimes forget. We keep asking— “Do I have enough reasons to stay?” Perhaps love was never built from reasons in the first place. Maybe sometimes, to find love again, you don't need to search harder for the past. You need to decide whether you are willing to open that door again. To stop loving only from behind your walls. To take the risk of believing again. Not because you know it will work. Not because you know you won’t get hurt. But because despite everything, there is still a part of you that wants to choose them. maybe love doesn’t have to become what it used to be. Maybe it can become something new. Calmer. Wiser. Stronger. Built not only from feelings, but from everything two people learned after almost losing each other. At some point in the relationship - It is about two people have to choose each other again. #remembertheday #Love# #choosingeachother #missingyou
