Hehe so hear me out…my Memaw was once an RN, for as long as I can remember she always used sponge forceps to cook bacon. She even gifted a set to my mom and to this day we still use them to cook our bacon. We call them bacon turners, cause that’s mostly what it gets used for. My Memaw would get them from the medical supply store, unused, sterile. We also have a straight set(without the ring tips, correct me if I’m wrong but I think those are called Kelly forceps), used for the same purpose. Also great for when your toddler drops stuff down in a narrow crack and you have to retrieve it. But they are great for turning bacon and the clamping ability comes in handy too.
