I changed out these piercings I had done the traditional way for people from my birthplace, and when I tell you that the release after six years of popping that thing off was worth the pain. (It was the kind that had a wire that was twisted on the back with no stopper; the twisted thread was the stopper; I had to use pliers to cut it off :/
