Sounds like a Retinal Artery Occlusion, it has to be dealt with in a matter of hours, otherwise its permanent, its basically a blood clot in your eye, mine was treated within 24 hours in hospital were they treated it like a stroke, with appropriate clot busting medication plus blood thinners, your vision does stabilise, but its scary at the time its happening 😊 xx
