The juror herself states that they weren’t there to see if she was guilty, that they already knew she was guilty… how is that handled bc that goes entirely against what the judge said?

But had the court taken that one juror out - who admits to reasonable doubt but didn’t follow the law - verdict would have clearly been NGRI. But because juror held out on purpose, it was forced into mistrial. I think the argument would be the verdict was NGRI because the juror admittedly had reasonable doubt which by law means finding of NG so if they took it by that, I could see the jeopardy pending. But it would be hard to win. If that makes sense? Lol

Yeah I think the phrase - rules are meant to be broken is appropriate for this case.

I don’t get it - they were told a million times if you have reasonable doubt that the prosecution proved she did it (not you saying she admitted it which is not supposed to be used as evidence unless it happens in court under oath) then she is a straight not guilty. This seems so black and white to me on a pure factual basis versus you wanting justice, versus what you think is best for them, versus your gut feelings etc

One lady said she first thought guilty but then there was no “smoking gun” that she even did it and she felt the best way to get justice for the kids was to vote NGRI. I’d say that was an improper use of reasonable doubt

One of the jurors who was interviewed said “we all knew she admitted to killing the children so a total not guilty verdict was never on the table” so it sounds like none of the jurors totally understood the instructions

PLEASE tell me why Red came out asking people to leave Patrick alone. Does it hurt his strategy if Patrick is viewed as suspicious by the public? What you think it happened????

Non of the jurors understood the case! How could the jurors that were nurses ignore the inconsistencies with the timeline regarding Lindsays temperature and Callans heartbeat revival? How could they ignore the levels of seroquel? Ignore the story about PC being told to get rid of the meds by a nurse or doctor? 😳

tbh my opinion is that a mistrial ended up being the best outcome--even the NGRI jurors didnt follow instructions

The Forewoman did an interview where she plainly stated that the one holdout juror SAID HE HAD REASONABLE DOUBT but refused to vote NGCR!!

Can you talk about why red is saying what he is now on interviews about Patrick? Before he said he wouldn’t trust him if he said it was snowing in the middle of a blizzard and now he’s saying he’s been put through hell

The way I’m seeing it, NGRI for Lindsay isn’t necessarily the worst thing. And I think Red is pushing for that because it forces the state to pay for Lindsay’s medical and mental health care until she is safe enough to be released where she is no longer classed as a ‘risk to herself or anyone else’. If Lindsay is straight out acquitted all together, and released straight home, that cost will add up extremely quickly, and her parents are only getting older.

Jurors have said basically case was not about guilt or innocence rather NGRI, 1st or 2nd. So that's confusing. They also stated 1 juror 100% agreed there was doubt so foreperson started filling out forms, he then stated but he refuses to go w NGRI. Whole case was a circus from day one.

I feel like the entire case did not allow for her to be assumed innocent until proven guilty. Confirmed by what the jurors are saying. Just botched from top to bottom

I think the jurors going on camera will be as big as the trial. Seemed like there was a lot of drama in deliberating

So in this entire situation I’m hearing all these jurors speak who clearly misunderstood the law and they all just made the double jeopardy actually fully something that can be in favor of her case now!!!!
