@thebarnrenovation: There are definitely things I would do differently if I was starting again, and some of them I wish I had thought about before we got started. After 10 years of renovating, these are the things that immediately spring to mind. Would I change everything? Absolutely not. We love our home and so much of what we have done has completely changed how we live in it.
