They were on videos that I posted of my mom’s indigenous town back in the Mixtec region of Guerero. They were commenting on my videos of people back home speaking their native languge and they’re saying that those are not the real Mexicans…I was so confused what that meant until I learned about what pretendians and FBAs are. My videos are not even in the United States and now they’re claiming a place they have never been to. They kept commenting AI looking pictures and quoting books written by white people. Unlike them our families didn’t grow up with the internet or electricity, and grew up in actual traditional adobe homes, can speak their languages and grew up real native culture and didn’t have to learn it from the internet or by stealing other people’s cultures.
