@💟💜FALETE💜💟 #verdad #falsa #entrevista #lamarrash #lafalete

How Long Does Minoxidil Really Take to Work? One of the biggest mistakes I see with minoxidil is giving up on it too early. I usually tell my patients to give minoxidil at least 3 to 4 months before judging whether it’s working. But that doesn’t mean you’ve reached your maximum result at that point. A recent study from researchers at NYU Grossman School of Medicine looked specifically at how long it takes patients with androgenetic alopecia to reach their maximal response to low-dose oral minoxidil. The study found that improvements in hair density and hair diameter can become measurable within the first 3 to 6 months. But hair growth is a slow process, and I tell patients that results can continue to evolve over a much longer period. 3–4 months: This is when I start looking for early signs of improvement. 6 months: We should have a much better idea of how well you’re responding. 6–12 months: This is where continued consistency matters. The cosmetic result can continue to become more noticeable as the hair cycles and grows. Around 12 months: This is a much better time to evaluate your overall response, as results tend to begin plateauing with longer treatment. The biggest takeaway is simple: minoxidil is a long-term treatment. Don’t assume it isn’t working just because you don’t see a dramatic difference after the first few months. Give your hair enough time to respond. #Minoxidil #HairLoss #HairGrowth #HairLossTreatment #AndrogeneticAlopecia
