My last TLX had lane departure mitigation. One time when I was trying to avoid a guy coming into my lane by going on the shoulder, the car pushed me back towards him.... I turn that off after that.

It’s called “lane assist” if you turn on your turning signal the lane assist goes away. It will vibrate if you start swerving out of your lane.

Wrong it does have lane change when In cruise control don’t click the blinker all the way down just activate it and it will change the lane for you.

Wrong, it does the lane change for you if there is no one detected in the blind spot.

We bought a 2025 CX5 Signature that has more options than the new one. Three road trips and love the car and the luxurious interior. For 2026, they cut a ton of options, cheapened the interior and dropped the turbo. 2026 is pure trash Thanks Mazda. I have NEVER heard of a car company cheapening their best selling car, especially when it is the interior, something you see constantly while driving. The 2013 CX5 GT we still have has a nicer interior than the 2026. All the lane changing tech this influencer is promoting? It's in our 2025, so whooptie doo. MAZDA, I AM SORELY DISAPPOINTED WITH YOU. I hope your Board at Mazda reams someone out about this stupid decision.

I got a 2026 cx5 less than a month ago. So far it has been in the garage 5 times with software bugs. - battery draining problem - no longer sees the WiFi at the house, even though it used to. The inside looks nice, but no power when driving. In Ireland you are not supposed to use a phone while driving, but Mazda puts in a tablet instead, you have to take your eyes off the road in order to do certain things , as Google assistant/ gemini does not recognise my accent. So i would stay away from Mazda, its too late for me.
