There are places one can buy seeds that aren’t owned by an evil capitalist corporation. They don’t own everything. This is mostly a problem for large commercial farmers.

The GMO plants are the patented ones. Don’t forget that if you plant non-gmo seeds, and the neighboring gmo farm cross-pollinates with yours and their markers show up in your crop, they sue you 🙃

you people don't understand that this is referring to specific genetically modified seeds that a company spent lots of time and money and man hours to create. You can use other seeds, just not of you choose to use theirs, which granted is still pretty stupid, but it's not like you have to use those. you could make some crosses and have your own

and if you dont buy from them, they buy the land next to your farm, plant the seeds you didnt buy, and send surveyors to "discover" that their patented cucumbers have cross polentated onto your farm (thats what plants do) and now they can sue you for your entire farm. Welcome to America, home of the crooks, land of the sheisty.
