I hate to say it... a piece of fishing line could be attached to that curtain. why would it move at the bottom being pulled like that if something was walking past it to swipe the candle? Id love ghosts to be real... but...this just seems set up

Years ago I was in Barley Hall with my then-toddler and was in that little corridor where the buttery is. He went to crawl up the stairs and as I was going to grab him, I heard someone moving behind me and angrily whispering/muttering along the lines of "what are you doing?". Safe to say I nearly 💩 myself and ran up that staircase faster than I've run up a flight of stairs before or since

I did my work experience at Barley Hall back in about 1998/1999 and always felt like I was been watched and there was something in the hall 😂 I used to love mopping that floor!
