My brother is mentally disabled and has the mental capacity of a 13 month old. He lives at a facility run by nuns. He will sit waiting for us to pick him up on the weekends and say the phrase “house” over and over. The nuns will say “yes John you are going home” I don’t have the heart to tell Sister Concetta, girl he doesn’t wanna go home he wants to get in the car and hear the soundtrack for The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Hearing that sound track after 8/25 hits different. He’s bouncing in the back seat dancing and I was trying not to cry. Rest easy to one of the most brilliant diamond in a world full of rhinestones. 💎😭
