Are you sure the recipe says unsalted butter?? That’s like an American thing, unsalted butter. And they’re supposed to have a little salt in them.

I recommend making these with salted butter. It adds that salty flavour you miss. It's how we always made them at home. Also lovely to melt down and drizzle over some Odense Nougat and dark chocolate over them😍

Where do you even find unsalted butter in Sweden, salted butter is the norm, expect every recipe to use salted butter unless it specifies unsalted butter
